How We Decide Where to Take a Job

We’re a small, owner-led roofing company — not a national chase-the-storm operation. That means we’d rather do fewer roofs really well than show up two hours late because we overbooked the day. We take work in the cities listed above because we know the building stock, the permit offices, the typical insurance carriers, and the hail and wind patterns. When a homeowner calls from outside that footprint, we’ll either drive out (we still travel to Maple Grove, Plymouth, New Hope, Crystal, Fridley, Coon Rapids, and Minnetonka regularly) or refer you to someone closer.

The Same Process in Every City

Whether you’re in Edina or Columbia Heights, here’s what working with Sellers Roofing looks like:

1. 15-minute intake call — so we understand the project before anyone drives anywhere.
2. Free on-site inspection by a project manager (not a salesperson). We get on the roof, photograph the field, valleys, flashing, vent boots, and ridge, then walk you through what we found.
3. Written, itemized estimate within 48 hours. Line items for tear-off, decking, underlayment, ice & water shield, shingles, flashing, vents, and labor — never a single “reroof: $X” number.
4. Insurance claim help — we meet your adjuster on the roof so the scope is right the first time. We are a contractor, not a public adjuster.
5. Install day — tear-off to the deck, deck inspection, full new underlayment, ice & water shield, GAF or Owens Corning architectural shingles, new flashing throughout.
6. Magnetic cleanup of the driveway, lawn, and landscape beds — and a closeout packet with your written labor warranty.
